Mexico’s Controversial Alien Corpse Case has captured the attention of the international media and scientific community. The images of two tiny mummified bodies, widely disseminated worldwide this September, ignited a significant controversy within the scientific community. These tiny ‘bodies,’ displayed within glass enclosures, exhibit three fingers on each hand and elongated cranial structures. Claims have been made that these remains represent the corpses of two extraterrestrial beings.

Genesis of the Controversy

The saga began when these bodies were introduced to the Mexican Congress on September 12th by Jaime Maussan, a journalist and UFO (Unidentified Flying Objects) researcher. Maussan claimed that they were unearthed from a mine in Cusco, Peru, in 2017 and contended that these remains belonged to a form of “non-human” life. This presentation swiftly garnered widespread attention, sparking speculation that the bodies might have an extraterrestrial origin.

Maussan asserted that scientists from Mexico’s National Autonomous University (UNAM) utilized radiocarbon dating to procure DNA evidence, which subsequently revealed that the remains dated back more than 1,000 years and were associated with ‘non-human beings unrelated to our terrestrial evolution.’ He further asserted that these bodies were discovered within diatom mines, a type of algae, and subsequently underwent fossilization.

He stated, ” I think there is a clear demonstration that we are dealing with non-human specimens that are not related to any other species in our world and that all possibilities are open for any scientific institution… to investigate it. ” He concluded by adding, “We are not alone.” (Reuters)

Laboratory Analysis

The purported corpses underwent thorough examination by Mexican doctors who conducted a series of laboratory tests on the remains. Their investigation revealed that the bodies were indeed comprised of individual skeletons and had not been manipulated or assembled.

Director Jose de Jesus Zalce Benitez of the Mexican Navy’s Scientific Institute for Health reported that the remains underwent X-rays, 3-D reconstruction, and DNA analysis. “I can affirm that these bodies have no relation to human beings,” he said.

Responses and Opinions

Upon their presentation at the hearing, NASA scientist Dr. David Spergel raised questions about why the duo had not shared their data samples publicly. These bodies have intensified tensions between the scientific community and the Peruvian government, which asserts that the remains are artefacts of the pre-Hispanic era.

Mr. Maussan has previously claimed the discovery of extraterrestrial beings on multiple occasions. In 2015, he made a similar assertion regarding a mummified body found near Nazca, Peru, suggesting it was of alien origin. However, subsequent investigations revealed it to be the remains of a human child.

Collectively, scholars, archaeologists, and scientists have affirmed that the mummified remains, which UFO researchers contend are of extraterrestrial origin, are typically altered human bodies. To date, there has been no official government confirmation regarding the existence of extraterrestrial life.
